About the Author
Madison Burkholder is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of South Alabama. Her studies have helped create strong research and analytical skills necessary to apply towards a broad range of historical topics.
It is the author’s goal to inspire the public to value and advocate for the preservation of historical buildings, landscapes, and local history as vital elements of community identity.
In her free time, Madison thoroughly enjoys visiting local museums and is an avid lover of community theatre. She had the opportunity to participate in multiple shows at Joe Jefferson Players over the years and will always value her time there.
